In just a couple of weeks, we’ll have arrived at my favorite time of year – football season! Now, while I’ve talked about my obsession with attending Super Bowls, my real love is the college game.

Mayfield shares my passion, evidenced by our recent launch of officially licensed ice creams for Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee. This year’s lineup includes:

• Bama Blast – strawberry ice cream with dark chocolate-covered pretzels
• Tiger Blitz – vanilla ice cream with blue-colored fudge and dark chocolate-covered pretzels
• Dawg Bones – strawberry ice cream with dark chocolate-covered pretzels shaped like bones
• Big Orange Blast – orange sherbet swirled in vanilla ice cream

If your favorite southeast team isn’t one of these four, it’s probably because we weren’t granted licensing rights. However, we’ll keep pursuing schools like South Carolina and Clemson because we want our consumers’ interests to be represented as best possible.
